Romancing the Novel

This story seemed to leave me with more questions than answers. Feeling as if I missed something as there were references to diamonds and other things that were not explained, I checked out the authors other books and found that this is a part of the Winter Garden series ( I had this added to the series now to avoid this confusion for anyone else) It seems that A Notorious Proposition is all about Ian's time in captivity, the how, when and why's of it, but it is his sister Ivy's story.
I did enjoy this story and loved the intense feelings between Viola and Ian, but I am sure I would have enjoyed it more had I read the others in the series first. I think I will try to read the series then reread this cause I did like the characters but I think I would enjoy it more with knowledge of the captivity.
