Romancing the Novel

This was my first book by this author and I was very impressed. The h, Audrianna Kelmsleigh has been living with a female relative, who owns a florist called The Rarest Blooms, along with two other women. They all have some sort of scandal attached to them which is why Daphne took them in.
Audrianna's father had committed suicide after being blamed for war crimes having to do with gun powder. She lost her fiance' because of this as well as the family honor. She sets out to clear her fathers name after reading an add from the mysterious Domino asking covertly to meet her father. She goes to this inn, armed, and when a man comes in looking for her father she assumes he is the Domino. It is actually Lord Sebastian Sommerhays who was known to be a rake, but has put that all behind him after the war. When the Domino actually comes in, there is some struggle and she accidentally shoots Sebastian. Scandal once again erupts and finally Sebastian convinces Audrianna to marry him to save her reputation.
It was very sweet watching them fall in love with each other. There was a lot of great dialogue between the h/H and I loved how he tried to fight his jealousy. I can't wait to read the rest of this series, the upcoming characters look very promising :)
